As I think back to when I first entered college in 1998, technology was present in my classrooms but not nearly as prevalent as it is today. For the past 9 years I have taught preschool and believe it or not technology even works its way into very little people's lives. Without over exposing children I believe it is important to incorporate technology into early childhood classrooms in order to provide children with the necessary building blocks for them to succeed in their next educational steps.
I like to believe I am fairly current on technology however after class on Tuesday I am clearly behind the times. My first bachelor's degree is in Marketing and commercial graphics so I know a little bit about Photoshop and Elements however I am definitely not current on the latest versions. Technology is something that I do like to learn about however many times I feel that it moves to fast to become good at one thing.
